Wasting my words on lower cases and CAPITALS.

Some of you ‘cool’ kids my recognise the above as lyrics from a Gallows song, the other more informed amongst you may know that it was originally from a Nat King Cole song and after that it appeared in ‘Moulin Rouge’, but wherever you may know it from it doesn’t matter, I believe the sentiment to be true and 2011 was the year that I learnt to do both. 2011 was a good year…

For all the things that people seek to claim to want to change when a new year comes around, about themselves and in their lives, I think it’s important to take a moment and appreciate what we’d like to stay the same, what we got right and about what isn’t broken. For all the good that change can bring,there is definitely one thing that I DON’T want to change; I don’t ever want to not have the girl i’m in love with as a major part of my life and I hope against hope that she never wants me to not be a part of hers.

No matter what 2012 and beyond has in store, I want to make sure that the girl that I met and fell for in 2011 is along for the ride, and in return, I promise to come along with and be there for whatever her year throws at her, and in turn, us.
